Thankfully we had Mark Haddad of Haddad Hakansson as our "design angel". He worked so well with us and had such creative ideas that any room surrounding the kitchen also got mini make-overs. He was constantly aware of our budget and always worked within our means. He made what could have been an enormously stressful project so much fun. "Without the help and suggestions of Mark and Kurt of Haddad Hakansson, we would be living in a home with white walls, neutral furniture and an overall rather bland feeling. Instead, we have rooms painted in exciting but not overwhelming colors (including a red kitchen with dark wood cabinets.) Our furniture is a mix of antiques and contemporary with colorful and interesting fabric choices. All in all, they brought the background of our world truly to life!  In addition, they have assembled an outstanding group of craftsmen who bring projects and ideas to completion with a high level of skill and an eye to detail.  We recommend this design firm without reservation; they are creative as well as practical and, most important, they really listen to their clients' needs and wishes."

"I have worked with Mark & Kurt to finish spaces of eight luxury units in a converted stone gothic style church.  The challenge was to select finishes for today that blend respectfully with the grandness of this historic building.
